Home Of The Nazarene is a transitional Housing. The Home of The Nazarene offers hope to the hopeless. The drug user has the desire to stop taking drugs but does not know how to. It is necessary for them to be mentored by leaders who are productively living drug-free lives in Christ Jesus.
The Home of The Nazarene gives them the solution. "We are not just another program" Our program is based on the word of God. We teach them the way to be completely free from the dependency of drugs and alcohol. Our program is base on the word of God. If the Son set you free You shall be freee indeed.
The Discipleship process consists of one year. It begins with bible studies and character refinement courses. They also participate in Group studies such as: dealing with temptation, attitudes, and anger management. They attend individual, group counseling and regular church activities.
Students are required to participate in Christian living courses such as: the Old Testament survey, parenting and self-improvement classes. The training phase builds a Christian foundation and encourages emotional wholeness, goal setting and job preparedness.
This process provides housing, personal and family counseling as well as assistance in finding employment. Students can go to work and return to the home. The money that the students earn will be deposited into their personal account. Once the student completes the program the money will be available.
